So many people ask me: "What are the benefits of massage?" My response is simple, "Massage is what you make of it!" It's proven that massage has both emotional and physical benefit. The benefits of massage range from a simple 'pick me up' to a more complex physiological response such as dampening the stress response by a decreasing the activity within the sympathetic nervous system. Massage can be both reactive and proactive in your health and wellness. Incorporating massage into your life can help restore balance and strengthen your mind-body connection.
